If you have ever wondered about painting in watercolor, or just simply would like to try something new, here's your chance. This workshop at the Pamlico Library is for anyone with little or absolutely no painting experience. It's meant for you to learn but in a relaxing and comfortably supportive environment.

Free and no materials required. Registration is required.  Call the Pamlico Library at 252-745-3515 to register. Class is limited to 6 participants to allow for social distancing. 2 hours – 10:30-12:30.

National Video Gaming Day
Come visit the New Bern Public Library Saturday, September 11th to celebrate National Video Game Day. We will have both video and tabletop games for everyone to learn and play. Whether you want a classic family-fun game, to start a competition amongst you and your friends, or just want to relax and unwind, we will have console and tabletop games available for you to play starting at 10:30 a.m. in our auditorium.

Drop in Tech Thursdays
Thursdays 5-6 p.m.
If you have a questions about your technology- bring it to the Library on Thursday from 5-6 p.m. and our staff will help you figure it out!

Caitlin’s Computer Classes
Thursdays 6-7 p.m.

Microsoft Programs Caitlin will be teaching a one hour class on Microsoft programs- free of charge- each week on Thursday evenings. Each week we will learn a new program. Please call if you need a computer- the library will provide what you need.

Banned Books Week Costume Contest
Sunday, September 26/through Saturday,October 2
Love Books? Love dressing up? Halloween just too far away?! Dress up as a character from your favorite banned or challenged book and submit your photo on our Facebook or Instagram pages or come in and have your photo taken in the Library to post for a chance to win a prize!
